Just before Easter we made a birthday countdown for Emerson. We got a bunch of different colors of paper and let Emerson choose which ones he wanted to for his paper chain. It was a fun, quick, and easy project that we did together as a family. I think it also heightened Emerson's excitement and understanding of his birthday as we took a ring off the paper chain each night before going to bed.
