On Friday we made our way up the tallest mountain in Wales. The hike was a total of nine miles there and back. Approximately a six hour hike. So off we went, Stephen carrying Emerson on his back, Canyon strapped to my chest, and Joseph carrying the other essentials like food and water. Stephen and Joseph also had Honey and Maple. The landscape around where we were hiking was beautiful, very lush and green. Most the hike was through pastures where sheep were grazing (Emerson really liked that). Emerson also like watching the trin go up and down the mountain carrying those people who ddn't want to hike the mountain.
After an hour and a half to two hours we made it half way up the mountain. At the half way point there was a little cafe. We stopped for a little break and made ourselves lunch. While we were there we overheard a couple people talking about how bad the weather was at the top of the mountain. Aparently the visibility was really bad as well. We decided it would be best to turn around and not try and go further. So back down the mountain we went.
On the way back down the mountain both Emerson and Canyon took naps. It was so cute to see them exhausted after a hard day of being toted around in their baby carriers. After we made it down the mountain we stopped and got some ice cream at a little stand and then made our way back to camp.
That is majorly impressive!!
