On the day of Father and Sons camp Emerson and Canyon had their yearly check-ups. We were planning on going to the appointments and then the boys leaving once we got back home for their camp. But when the doctor told us that Emerson was going to get four shots that day we decided that camping might not be that comfortable....so when we got home we decided to roast some s'mores over the stove and then have a little movie night instead.
Emerson was not a big fan (unless it's gummy bears or starburst he's not usually interested). Canyon was a big fan of roasted mallows, but the s'mores were a little messy for his liking. Though the boys didn't really like s'mores they really enjoyed cooking the mallows over the stove and had a lot of fun.
Towards the end of our s'more night things got a little messy. I became the lucky recipient of part of Stephen's mallow that was falling out of his s'more. (Not a very becoming picture I know!)
