Our first day in Ashdod was a Sunday and so instead of going on any tours we opted to walk around the city instead and enjoy a quite relaxing day in the beautiful sunshine.
We spent most of our day walking along the beautiful beach near our port. It was very quite there and not very populated on that specific day. The weather was also gorgeous and a gentle breeze kept us from getting too hot. As we walked along we collected sea shells and dipped our feet in the water.
We spent about half the day in Ashdod and the other half we spent relaxing on the ship and playing various games. It was a nice relaxing day and the perfect start to our time in Israel.
