Wimpole Farm

When we got to the farm you had to walk for a little ways after you paid to where the farm actually was. Along the way we saw these sheep. Emerson was very interested in them and wanted to stop every couple minutes to look at them.

Uncle TJ can never give a serious pose. Him and Emerson are two of a kind.

We just barely missed the goat feeding, but their cages had these big openings so that you could pet them if you wanted. Emerson was hesitant at first but in the end he gave the goats a little scratch. He also pet a big white cow.

At the farm they had this 'Adventure Woodland' playground. Emerson loved it and TJ got to see just how fearless his little nephew is.

At the farm they also had a hay bale maze that you could go through. I distracted Emerson for a couple minutes while 'Uncle TJ' went to the other end of the maze. Emerson then had to try and get to him. He was very proud of himself when he finally managed to reach him. While in the maze, Emerson saw a little boy throwing hay up in the air and thought that it looked like fun. It was, until he got itchy hale down his shirt.

After they hay bale maze TJ and Emerson went racing around this little 'dirt track' on toy tractors.

After lunch TJ and Emerson played on another little playground that was right next to the cafe. Emerson really enjoyed the teeter-totter and insisted that 'Uncle TJ' sit on the otherside so they could go up and down.

The weather then started to get a little bit yucky so we made our way back home. It was a really fun day out. Emerson loves farm animals and we all had a great time.
