Kenilworth Castle

While TJ was visiting we went to Kenilworth Castle and Elizabethian Gardens. The weather was off and on and we got caught in a couple small rain storms but when it wasn't raining it was a nice day. Most of the castle was in ruins which made it fun to go investigating through. There was a small manor house that was still intact and had some original items from the castle inside it, however you weren't allowed to take photos. Since we had the stroller for Canyon, TJ and Emerson went through the castle ruins and walked up to the top of the castle.

There were also some pretty gardens that have been reconstructed to show what the original Elizabethian Gardens might have looked like. They were made to please Queen Elizabeth when she came to stay at the castle.

We had lots of fun on our little day out despite the rain. We did a lot of investigating, TJ and Emerson made a lot of funny faces, and Canyon patiently hung out in his stroller (most of the time).
