Emerson's preschool did sports day during the last week of school. Emerson had lots of fun and ran in all the different races.
Canyon and Eleanor were great cheerleaders for their big brother.
They had lots of cute races for the kids to do. They ran with bean bags on their heads (but got to hold the bean bags), they had an egg and spoon race (plastic eggs stuck to the spoons with blue tac), ball and bucket race, sack races (where the pillow cases had wholes cut out to put their legs), plus a couple other cute races.
It was almost time for the Olympics so they had a torch race. Canyon ran in the torch race as well.

After the races all the kids got medals and popsicles. It was a really fun morning cheering Emerson on. Something I suspect we will be doing more of as each year passes. (Can't believe he will be in school full-time come September.)
